This is a natural characteristic for a girl who was of Irish descent, who was nurtured in her early days by talented family members as well as parents. Maureen arrived in this nurturing haven, August 17, 1920. She was raised by the family of her parents. Marguerita L. FitzSimons had a successful contralto. The father of her, Charles FitzSimons, managed an enterprise in Dublin as well as owned a part of the renowned Irish soccer team "The Shamrock Rovers." Maureen FitzSimons' is the 2nd FitzSimons child. Peggy FitzSimons Florrie Charles B. Fitzsimons Margot Fitzsimons James O'Hara made up this family. Maureen was a great athlete and participated in rough, competitive sports when she was a young. This natural interest and her talent to perform was impressive.
